This may sound crazy, but has any body tried raising discus on a dry food diet (excluding time before initial introduction)

Hi,
Theres no reason why not, as long as its a nutritionally balenced food. Pellets and flakes should be fine .

My young dicus love the New Life Spectrum Growth formula, the red turks have some blue spattered all over a few of them and a touch of red starting in the fins at 10 weeks old and 1.75 inches for the most part, some more, some less.

NLS Growth has krill as the first ingredient so has natural color enhancers.

My discus eat mostly tetra bits with one meal per day of fresh or frozen meaty food.

Sorry,

IMO raising discus on dry food ALONE is waisting time.

IMO they need meat.
