are standard 2ft tanks to small for discus??

i have a standard 3ft and 2ft and i was wandering if i can raise around 2 or 3 discus in a 2ft tank???

How many gallons is a standard 2ft? Is that a 20 or a 29? I guess a 29 would be ok but it would be on the small end. Also you do not want to raise small discus in groups of less then 6. If you only want 2 or 3 discus then it is best to go with adults.

If you decide to raise juveniles, then it's best to start with a group of 6 or more. As they are schooling fish, they are happier in larger numbers.

Your 3 ft. tank will be okay to start out with, but you'll soon need to move them to a larger tank as they grow.
