Lip Locking

I have a 3 inch red turq and a 3 inch red? snakeskin locking lips. Is this part of their pairing dance? They also shimmy beside each other. If this is the "dance" I have read so much about, should I let them pair up for the future, or work on separating them? With my newbie knowledge I would assume I would get turqs, but that is okay, they rank high on my favorite list.

3 inches is pretty small for pairs to be forming unless they are stunted. How old are they? More likely juveniles determining the pecking order.

They are juvies.....but was hoping that that meant they were separate sexes. Only ones I seen doing this.
