It's been a while, hope everyone is doing well. Unfortunately, 2 of my babies are ill and I'm not sure what's doing. Female laid eggs on glass in tank with 5 others(75 gal). Divided tank w/hardware cloth. All went well, hatched, when started to free swim, pb got in, scratched his side up badly and ate all fry. I removed divider, did 50%. (normal 30-40% daily) Looked like infection setting in on pb, started antibiotic. Now mama & another are dark, gasping at times, have white "growths?" on outside of gills and top of dorsal fin. Nobody's eating.

It's amazing to me, I have kept Discus for 9 yrs, never had flukes or worms. Could this be it? Can I treat with metro while antibiotic in H20? 3 yrs no sickness, now combo. What to do?

I'm not sure what you have, but I don't think you want to use metro. This sounds bacterial. What are you using now? You can add salt to the tank. Does it look cottony like fungus or like a build up of slime?
