Hey all, I re-planted my 38g, bought some new plants, got rid of some old, etc. The pictures aren't very good, but hopefully you'll get a good idea. Let me know what you guys think, ideas for improvement, what you like, what you don't like, etc, (besides the fact I need a new, better camera ;) )
This is before I change it:

Certainly :).

Back row (left to right):
1 Aponogeton natans (can't see in pic), Asian Ambulia, 1 red tiger lotus, water wysteria, and finally, a radican marbled queen.

Middle row (l-r)
2 Cryptocoryne wendii (red varient, can't see them), 2 Anubias barteria var. nana, 1 ozelot sword.

And in the front I planted Glossostigma.

PumaWard,

That looks good for the most part. However, that Radican is going to be very constricted in the corner like that. They have a very wide growth habit and need a lot of room. You're probably going to be better off getting rid of it if you can't keep it closer to the middle. C. ciliata is a great replacement for swords in smaller tanks.

Best,
Phil

Thanks,

The C. ciliata is definately something I'll look into as the Radican is getting a bit too big for my taste anyway.

Do you think the ozelot will get too big also, or do you think it will be okay?

I think it looks great! 8)

Whatever the light greenery is (Asian Ambulia?) on the left side is very pretty.

Yeah, I'm really happy with the ambulia, it really helps to soften up the appearence of the tank.

Substrate is play sand from Home Depot. It's not recommend by a lot of places for planted tanks, but I have had quite a bit of success with it so far.
