Melons from Great Lakes Discus

I purchased 7 red melons from Cary in December 03. They were about 3 inches then. I now have 3 pairs from those 7. I guess I lucked out with 3 pairs from 7 fish ;D. All 3 pairs have produced wigglers. As of this morning Pair #2 is carrying about 45 fry.

I was surprised how well the fry attached to the parents. I thought I may have had a problem since they are pigeon blood.

I thought I read somewhere that melons don't breed true. Anybody know what types of babies I'll get?
