I am not sure if this has been asked of before, but does anyone know any sites where you can see Discus in the Wild? Like National Geographic or something? I have been looking cause I want to see them in their natural habitat but I cant find a thing!!!

I suspect that is because it is darn difficult to find them, dark or murky water, fallen branches.

Not too many of the discus areas have clear water, worth trying to take photos.

I heard Oliver at belowwater.com had an excellent video at the ACA. I don't know if it's for sale or not but it may be worth an inquiry...

Oliver advised me today that the video that was shown at the ACA will be available at the end of the year.

The video at the ACA was awesome! It was really impressive. He had a helper actually push the pair with fry on their backs into camera view (they occasionally swam out of camera view). They totally tolerated his presence. He showed the same pair with the wigglers on the underside of a leaf. He explained all of the different varieties of wild discus and where they could find them. He even showed how they caught wild discus. It was very interesting. I can't wait to buy the video.

I once stumbled across this site: http://www.finarama.com/gallery/amano.htm

Unfortunately, it does not have any pictures of Discus in their habitat. But then, pictures of Angels and Neons in their natural habitat are not be scoffed at. And the Discus habitats probably don't look much different. :)
