Does anyone know if their is a major advantage of using stainless steel rather than titanium heaters of vice versa. Currently I only use glass heaters (Ebo Jager) but wanted a 300 watt stainless or titanium for my 100 gallon water aging stock tanks. I have found the stainless steel one for 19.99 and the titaium one for 24.99. Please advise. Thanks

I have found the stainless finish is not as nice after a few months in the tanks. The titanium holds up much better.

have green and black ebos- all work great. Also have some 500watt titaniums that work well except for two problems
1) - the tend to form little bubbles when they get hot and my poor discus confuse with eggs and start fanning them.
2) - I've had several pair try to spawn on them ???

Now, keeping only the ebo's in the breeder tanks :)
