gday all

returned home to find that my breeders were punching on all day after spawning.

female has an injured eye. due to a bite or perhaps a rub on the heater.

I immediately treated with a small water change and dosage of multi cure that contains malachite green meth blue, and acriflavine.

ANd put in a divider seperating both.

now its been a few days and nothing much has changed. Too hard to tell. The eye dosent appear to be pierced. its just fog like white. and a little swollen. The pupil is still coloured.

will it fix itself? any advice please.

they are also trying to get back together trying to force the dividerdown.
It dosent seem for fighting purposes though. NOt sure what to do hear.

im willing to wait until its healed.

regards

nick

It should heal on it's own with daily waterchanges and 1 or 2 tablespoons salt per 10 gallons - give it a week.

I agree with Carol also.
I had a discus panic attack in my tank two weeks ago, one wound up with an eye that was white. I immediately added 1 tblsp. salt per 10 gallons of water for one day , by the next night it looked fine.

Thanks

They are called blue scorpions. Most people will often mistake them as blue diamonds untill they see them live.
