Hi all, I've been reading a lot about salt here and though I dont have any sicknesses happening, that I know of! I was wondering, is salt ever used as a preventative measure or only as a treatment? I remember when I had tropicals like guppies , mollies etc, some one saying salt is good for keeping them healthy and making their colors more vibrant. As I had had those fish for quite sometime and very successfully I never did add any cos I'm with the " if aint broke dont fix it " school of thought and left my fish as they were. So yes thats my question, salt only when sick or any time? Thanks and thanks to everyone that contributes to this board, you just cant read or learn or think about too much! :)
