Does she have a chance?

This female laid spawned last night. Just a few hours ago, she started to bloat. Now she's huge and really bad off...

There seems to be some transparent matter exiting her ovipositer or anus and she's starting to lose mobility.

I added Epsome and salt.

Should I put her down or give her a chance. I'm leaving on vacation in a few hours ???

I took her out and gently massaged her belly and this came out!

It's clear and jelly-like and There's a bunch of it!!!

Any ideas?

I don't know but I'm thinking it is a puss unfection.

I remember last night when I saw the spawn, there were no females in the tank tending the eggs. I guess she was sick before or during the spawn but I never noticed.

I dosed with Metro, salt and epsom salt. She seems to have regained a little more control but is tilting up at about a 45 degree angle. The swelling is about the same.

Peggy said she will come over tomorrow and check on things while I'm away, so if she's the least bit better inthe morning, I'll let Peg make a judgement call :) (pass the buck ;D )

Have you wormed them recently? Could it be a partially disolved worm?

Unfortunately I had to leave on vacation the next morning. I asked Peggy to come over and take a look and she was dead. This hit very fast!!!
