Hiking To Remote Pond in the Adirondacks.

Few pictures of Tom and I (Tom is my best buds dad) hiking to a remote pond in the Adirondacks this weekend.

Bushwacked a clear trail through this marshy portion as the trail was unmarked for a good 50 yards on each side of it. Wanted it to be obvious. Did quite a bit of bushwacking and remarking.

A homemade alcohol burning stove out of a pepsi can. About 5 cents worth of alcohol will boil water for 2 cups of coffee, heat soup and a can of pork and beans.

A few late blooming wild blueberries. Plants were about ankle height.

Looks like a great day in the Adirondacks :)...In picture 2 where your bushwacking..learn to keep the left arm straight, cuz if you did, it wouldnt be a bad golf swing ;D
