I have a Discus site in Israel, and one of the friend ask us a question we couldnt answer him...

I don't know. Could be a tumor or hernia or prolapsed something . . . I don't think the discus will live long . . . :-\

I can read what he said. I had the same thing came out from one of my fish. I guess this is a tangle mess of stomach linnings and worms cysts. If you break it open, You may find a white thread measured about a foot long formed by stomach linings. Among it may find millions of egg cysts from the Nematodes. A microscopic worms which feeds on the stomach linnings and excrete white fluffy substances which sometimes mistakenly called round worms. It's commonly seen in a different form in a broken cotton like substance which floats and suspends in water. It comes out like a cacoon if antibiotic was used the first time. It will not work the second time. It was explained to me by one of the member here at Simply.
