Question about Snow Whites

Does anyone know how this strain/variety was developed? PB genes, etc?

Will feeding them too much bloodworms cause them to "darken" like in Blue Diamonds?

A breeder found a few white fry from his wild brown brood. Instead of culling them. He kept and bred them. Cross them with other fish to develope his own dust-free strain of discus. His name is Robert Tan or Chin if my recallection is correct from Melaka in Malaysia.
