After working hard all Spring/Summer, wife and I (along with another couple) are taking an 11 day / 10 nights cruise on the North Atlantic along the North American (NewEngland/Canada) coast line aboard the Jewel of the Seas.

Should hit it all during peak fall leaf foliage for the regions we will be seeing. Will have to work like a dog just before and just after the trip to stay up on my goundskeeping/lawncare accounts, but it will be worth it.

Any must sees that you, my neighbors to the north, can recommend?

I'm glad you're heading north away from the hurricanes. Enjoy the scenery and the great food!

Have never been on an extended cruise before. Took a 6 hour cruise from Ft Lauderdale, FL to FreePort Bahamas and then back again, but that's it. Took a 3 hour Ferry from the Wellington NZ to Picton NZ across the Cook Straight once. Been deep sea fishing 4 times......each time an all day puking affair.

I'm heading to the Doctors this week to get the sea sickness shots. This is going to be an adventure.
