The male eats the eggs....

Hi,
I have a pair and the male is very young - about 10 months old.
the female is older but small... right after she lay eggs the male eats them immeadietly...
what can I do about it?

I have a male that ate eggs as well, but he finally stopped and now the female is eating them after 24 hours :(
I would say to let them be and see if he "grows" out of it. He still is too young to breed and he might do like mine did.

Patience... I have had several pairs that I thought would never figure it out, and most eventually did. I read somewhere on here several months back not to worry about it until they have given it at least 6 or 7 tries. Most often with my pairs it was just youth and inexperience. Good luck.

hexed - maybe you can put a net on the eggs so the female cant eat the eggs...
