I've seen them before during a google search for tankless water heaters... I've also seen them on eBay...

They're not that common but they do exist!

Question for those that have tankless water heaters! Are you using electric or gas units?

Gas.

I love it, even with increased water change load, my gas bill is down 25% from last year. (Water bill was up 35% though!) So big of a decrease the gas company sent out a guy to replace my Meter! He told me that when there is a big fluctuation, they assume the meter has gone bad....

I've heard that the electric ones don't do as good of a job.

Also, even units with Stainless steel heat exchangers still have copper fittings...

John,
Do a search on Ebay for Tankless water heaters and look for the Noritz and Takagi brands. There are several distributors selling on Ebay and both brands have LP models available.

Aggie,
Yep.. And most Faucets have copper or Brass components too...

Thank you everone for the info. I guess I should know that the water is not effected by the little contact w/copper. There is copper pipes in the wall. I still would not use water sitting in a hot water heaters copper tank, But water running through fast is OK.

I'm starting to really love SimplyDiscus.com I wish I had more time to spend here to talk about things. But when I do I will. THanks TIM
