The New Illustrated Guide to Fish Diseases by Gerald Bassleer -- any good?

Here's a link for those who don't know what I'm talking 'bout:

Sam_y; I don't have that book, but I did take a peek at it earlier this year (someone else had bought it and I was browsing through it). It's really packed full of photos of sick fish to help identify what the problems are. It looked a like a nice book in my opinion. :)

Wahter, thank for the reply. For Wahter and anyone else who's seen the book and can compare it with other books on the same subject:

Is it worth the extra money to buy this book over some of the older ones out there? I'm not looking for a lot of technical info and graphic images...just a practical guide to fish diseases.

Sam- I don't have this book, but the fish veterinarians I've spoken with have recommended it:
(I have browsed through this book too and there's a good amount of info about parasites, etc... and what medications to treat them with - not nearly as many photos as the other book above though).

Fish Disease: Diagnosis and Treatment by Edward J. Noga (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/081382558X/qid=1101070675/sr=2-3/ref=pd_ka_b_2_3/103-8150824-3125407)

It's a bit on the pricey side though.

HTH,

Walter

For those who aren't familiar with Dr. Noga, here's some info about his background, research, and some publications he's written:
