cover and light for 55 gal. tank

Hi, I'm new to discus,just got my new babies a week ago. What I'm looking for is the glass or plexiglass cover that fits a 55 gal. tank and the light. My tank does not have the middle brace so it has to be 48" long, not two 24's. I thought maybe if someone had the misfortune of breaking a 55 and still had the cover and/or light, maybe i could make a deal. If I could just get the cover, I could make two 24" lights work. Maybe your local building supply can cut two pieces of glass to fit. Be sure to to leave a one inch gap for filter intake and heater cords, etc.

You may be able to order a replacement top from your fish store or online. Be aware that different brands of tanks have different measurements - 55 gallon tank tops are not interchangeable.
