If this is their first time they usually do eat them, so don't be too disappointed. It may take several tries before the pair figures out what to do :)

Victor, do you have another proven pair? Occasionly, I do let my proven pairs takes care of my young pairs babies. I have a SS pair that's a pain in the butt. They would eat the eggs before they hatch and would sometimes eat the wigglers.
