Just Getting Started With Discus!

I have a 180 gallon tank with a 100 gallon sump/ filter. It will be a Discus and Cardinal Tetra tank, and I hape to have live plants. I am looking for recomendations as to the best way to out fit this tank. I am in no hurry and can wait many mounths for system to develope. End result is the key.
I have tropical experience and wish to set up a large tank that is lightly loaded but appropriately stocked.

I would grow out juveniles in a bare bottom 55 and then add them to your establish 180 in 6 or 8 months. You might want to go to the biotope section for info on setting up a planted tank.
