eye size

I was just curious about the difference in the size of the eyes. My fish and and from a lot of the pics, I notice that the eyes are significantly different in size. the golden discus eyes are smaller. Does anybody have both blue discus and golden discus that are about the same age? Is thier eye size about the same or is there a difference? Just a gee wiz question. thanks :o

Some color varieties do have smaller eyes than others - I think most wilds have a bigger eye to body ratio too.

Here is a picture of three red turk types - compare eye size to body size. As I recall the smallest is the oldest (one of my first discus)
