Heater for Storage Container

I finally got around to setting up my storage container, but need to ask some questions about heaters. My 300w ebo-jager heater has a water line marker at the top, can it be placed on the bottom of the storage container completely under water? I was thinking it would be ok because when it was in the tank the water went higher than the water line mark anyway. Thanks for the help.

Mine all lay horizontally on the bottom of the tank

That line is just there for importing rules / safety standards. I have 3 of these heaters fully submerged, but I had the same question when I saw that line the first time.

I have all my ebos fully submerged... never a problem. Didn't know they made a 300 though :confused: new model :confused:
