can't eat bloodworms or BS

a few of my new guys can't seem to keep anything in there mouth. They are hungry as hell but bloodworms/brine shrimp just go in and out. sometimes flakes also. They are'nt spitting it either.They can keep beefheart in just fine. anybody else run into this?

NO, they are mouthing it and spitting it out . . . watch and if they are eating the beefheart fine jsut feed that for a few days. Could the brine shrimp and bloodworms be freezer burned or spoiled?
