Hi,

I am in the St. Louis area and was wondering if any of the people that lives here know where I can get tanks for cheap?

Looking for cheap tanks? Aren't we all...Give Jack at KC discus a shout he may be able to help ya..Or if you aren't too far from Teen. you could get in touch with twin oaks company they make glass tanks,very reasonable.

Id do like Mench said get a hold of Jack at discus KC the last i seen hime he had several used tanks for sale if ya dont mind the drive he is in KC.

Cheap source is glasscages.com need to check there show schedule as that reduces the shipping charges.

Another option is to pick a LFS, small one.. not a chain,
go in there with a list and tell them that you want to buy them all at the sametime, will pay cash,will pick them up when they come, and want the best price possible. Doing that here and I was able to get 29 gal tanks for $30 and 75 gal for $99... these prices are half what the tanks sell for retail out here..

I still have tanks for sale in Michigan. I have 48-75 gallon tanks @ $75 each

Thank you to all who responded to this thread. My friend was generous enough to give me one of his 29 gal tank so I am set for the time being. At least now I'll have some leads to check out the next time I need more tanks. Again thanks all.
