I think 1 of my Discus has a Flagellates problem. I have been teating with Fish Zole (today is the 3rd day, 250 mg per 10 gallon, once per day), and the fish seems to be getting better, as he is starting to eat and move around more, but he is still dark. How soon should the darkness fade?

Also, are my heaters inadequate? I have 2 125 watt Jager heaters for a 75 gallon tank, and the heaters can not be set above 93-94, and the temperature in the tank is only 91. Is the metro still efective at 91?

above 92 is better. Your heaters are small for a 75 gallon. 250 mg per 10 gallons is not much metro - I dose 400 - 500 mg per 10 gallons. Keep temp up for a week after you stop dosing metro. You might want to dose 3 more days at the higher dose . . . .

Thank you Carol, I will try with the 500 mg for three more days.

rule of thumb is 5 watts per gallon, so for a 75 you'd want a minimum of 375 watts of heater. The environment the tank is in effects heater performance as well so a cooler environment would increase the wattage required while a warmer one would let you get away with this or possibly less. From your post, less doesn't seem like an option though :)

You could either replace both with two 200 or 250 watt versions, or, add a 200 to your existing two 125's. Again, room temp influences tank temp, so only you know that one :)
