May be it's a stupid question for u guys, but can u tell me what is the difference between a solid cobalt blue and a blue diamond. I've seen tons of pictures of both, but sometimes if the name wasn't written it would be hard to say which is which. If you look on stendker's site, the BD and the cobalt looks pretty much the same.
So what does make a BD a BD and what makes a Cobalt a cobalt???

hi there well a blue diamond has no bars as an adult or a baby. the cobalt start out like little barred brown babies and slowly the blue covers the bars. however..the bars are still there..and if they were ill..you'd see them coming through. also striations still showing on their faces.

many cobalts have markings on the fins too. But the underlying stress bars in cobalts vs. no stress bars in blue diamonds is the most significant difference.
