View Full Version : Can blooworms go bad?

Hello, I bought some blooworms from my lfs ( Ocean Nutritions ) When i opened the package of worms it smelled horrible and was black. Usually blood worms are red. So can they go bad, i think mine are bad n if they are i will return them.

Yes they can go bad, if they smell bad they definately are bad IMO...do not feed them to your fish and return them to the LFS. There are instances where a shipment arrives and are inadvertently left out and defrost and then refroze by the vendor, if so they can go bad rather quickly.
