Last pic - this is from another tank. The fish was purchased from rockymountaindiscus.com - Al there told me he got it originally from Chai discus in Singapore. This fish is blocking the view of a blue snakeskin.

While I got your attention.....Your potted plants...Are you using gravel/substrate? And if you are...you obviously aren't using a python for cleaning and w/c's, as this does not pick up the above. Your tank looks awesome...no stray gravel pieces like mine...Can ya fill me in on your secret? Thankies

Robin - I do use a python to gather the bits of Seachem flourite (in the pots) which get scattered onto the bottom of the tank (I have some kuhli loaches and panda cory cats which eat up the food that lands in the pots - sometimes they scatter small amounts of flourite onto the bottom of the tank). Once it's all in a neat pile, I use a piece of plastic to scoop up the scattered flourite and put it back in the pots - so the bottom stays pretty clean. I also use a smaller gravel vacuum to clear up the surface of flourite in some of the pots. Hope that helps.
