I have some metro on hand and the bag says 1/4 tsp per 10 gallons. How many milligrams are in a 1/4 tsp? Thanks all
I'm not positive, but according to most metro directions, 400mg is added to 10 gallons of water. I would assume 1/4 tsp = 400 mg, but it would be best to check with the manufacturer or possibly a pharmacist...
Metro can be used in varying doses so I think you'd be ok to follow the directions and even double dose the first dose...

I bet it's 250 mg. That's the dosage on most packages of metro.

I was thinking 250 but If I'd like to double dose, I'd hate for 1/4 tsp to be 500. :(

Hmm... If you compare it with hex-a-mit capsules (which are 250mg per capsule) i would think that 1/4 tsp would be more than 250mg....
Perhaps the manufacturer or the seller might be able to tell you.
