what color will the offspring be?

I have a male blue turquoise that is showing a lot of intrest in my female melon red, I was wondering what color offspring they would produce. ???? :confused:

Hi Mike,
I'm trying to breed a very similar pair only the female is a Marlboro Red, I just moved them to a breeder tank aweek or two ago but no eggs yet. I'm guessing the fry will probabley be a blue and red mix, maybe like a Checkerboard Discus.

From what I have learned so far , I believe some will look like mom and some will look like dad and the rest will be somekind of mix between the 2.
Could be very pretty.
