One of the acts of a pair forming will be when they swim towards each other and then bow as they pass each other. Does this ALWAYS just happen between a male and a female? Have you ever had two males or two females bow to each other?

Another question while I'm thinking about it, when you have a discus with the long trailer on the top fin what percentage of the time would you say it is a male?

I've had 2 females that bow to each other and continue to do so, even though there are plenty of males available now:/ As far as the ponytail, on the males, I've heard the percentage is 90+. Not sure how accurate that is though, that was from a local breeder, and I believe he said 98%, but since I'm not sure of exact, I will settle for 90+:)
