I want to treat my fish in my planted tank but was just wondering if I have to keep the temp way up at 92 if I am feeding them by food. I simply sprinkle power on some CBW's and it sticks to the worms like glue. THe fish don't mind the taste at all.

It is my understanding that metro was formulated for human use (98.6 temp) and works best at elevated temperatures.

I have had good results using 1/4 tsp of metro per 4 ounces food at 86F. HTH

Just wondering are you treating fish with metro prophylactically? If they're are eating the worm laced with metro, temp does not matter. If their waste looks normal (black or crumbly, not transparent white)then I wouldn't treat them with anything.
