What should the babies look like ??

Hello all, I don't understand the genetics thing very well and was wondering what would happen if my Marlboro Red female and my male Blue Diamond spawned. Would the fry look like mom and dad or a mixture ?? They pretty much won't leave each others side in my 180 "singles bar" tank. Thanks for looking.

If the Marlbro red is carrying a dominent gene then all the babies will be pb based. The color will vary from solid blue/white to striated to plain colored. If the marlbro gene is not dominent then you will get a larger variation including all of the above along with solid colored turks, striated turks and brownish looking babies.

Rod is correct. Some may look like Blue Pandas :)

Thanks for the replies. I think I am going to seperate them into their own 29 gallon tank and see what happens. Will let you know if anything good happens. Thanks again.
