I have some nice 3" juvies I'd like to part with. They are offspring from the pair below.

They are not A quality, but I feel they are much better than LFS quality. Maybe B+??? Their imperfections are due to my negligence and not genetic. Nothing much, a little bump in the forehead on one and a very slight dusting of pepper across the nose on a few.

I'm not sure exactly what to call them. I've been told the parents are wither Gold Diamonds, Goldens or Marlboro Golds. I guess I'll just call them Jeep Golds :D

I also have a few adults and other juvies I may be willing to part with at below market rates...

Local pick-up only...

Please IM me if there are any questions or interest...

Another... The one with the bump... The eye is just a water spot on the tank...

Brian,

NIce fish. I think your being a little too modest. I see lots of potential in them. Great deal for the lucky gal/guy who ends up with them.

No doubt Brian. I think you have done alright with them. If no one takes them I may have to visit sooner than I wanted. Anyway Great looking discus. I hope your not stepping away.

Thanks guys! #1, I may be too picky. #2, I really would like to make room.

Ike, if you want them I'll hold them until your next visit :)

If I lived near KC you would have all the tank space you needed,

Thanks guys! #1, I may be too picky.

Good for us. Keep being picky, Brian... Keep on being picky.. We lub ya for that! ;)

#2, I really would like to make room.

You know there is another house on my block that is up for sale soon. Very excellent condition. No need to renovate. Then you can have first flat for your fish room and garage to hold your water tanks and more fish tanks. :D

Ike, if you want them I'll hold them :)

Not before he picks me up on his way to ya! J/K There are a few tankrooms I'd love to explore.

LOL Angie :D

If these were just a bit larger I would have sent them to you last month, but at that time I couldn't tell which ones I wanted to keep back as future breeders. I'm only holding back 3 but I have another batch taking off now :)
BTW, there are only 4 left...

HI

maybe it's not a good place to ask but ... ;) I wonder - cuz U said that it's "your fault" of that how they look, that it is not genetic thing ... HOW is that discus have those " a little bumps in the forehead "

thanks

voytek ;)

ps. they r not bad at all :) and parents look preety cool ;) "Jeep Golds " lol

I don't mind answering that at all. I must admit, when they were very young, I was rarely here and I neglected both proper diet and proper water changes. Not total neglect, but just not the proper treatment.

I culled about 80% of them and gave some away, but the remaining 20% seemed to growing fine. I can only assume that the minor defects I'm refering to are due to my neglect. The bump in the forehead is only on one fish and really only noticable in the photos and I didn't even know it was there until I saw the photo. The slight pepper, of course, is genetic. It's barely there, but IMO any pepper is too much pepper :)

Hello all, I am the lucky recipient of Jeepsgolds. I just got them home about an hour ago and already they look great. Will try to post a few pics. I think these are gorgeous fish. For those of you who don't know Jeep, he is a grade A person even though he doesn't think these fish are. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thanks again for the fish Jeep.

It was a pleasure to meet you Troy!

Those guys look better in your tank than in mine. Best of luck and don't forget me if they spawn;)
Tad, I guess that'll be the name of the f2's :)

Brian, If they ever spawn for me you will have first pick of any you want. These guys started to eat Color Bits an hour after they got settled in. As of this morning everyone is doing great and eating like pigs.
