I now suspect it is these two that are the parents of these eggs. There is a third party involved but I also suspect that he/she has been dismissed from the equation.
The parents seems to know exactly what to do. They are not eating the eggs but are blowing kisses to them.

Thanks Carol!! :wave: But sadly to report...I interrupted the cycle thinking I had to clean the tank. Usually I do the water changes twice a week and yesterday was the day I were to clean. But once I began, the parents got scared and it looked as if they were relocating but they ended up eating the eggs. :(

I guess it is not important to have a clean sterile tank for the eggs??? I guess they'll try again another time. *A*
