new tank new set up>> Should i?/

Im thinking of borring holes in the tank and having a pump run from the res tank to the new tank so it constantly has an incoming of fresh water that would go thru a ozonator to kill parasites/ then a filter and then back to the main tank..
Thinking of linking 2 tanks together this way...

Should I or should i just keep it simple?

What have others done if they have been elaborate in the tank filtration set ups?

Dont forget to install an overflow box or drill another hole.
