I have those lighting. IMO discus don't require that much light.

You can get a regular standard flourscent light running 25 watts and still be ok.

The power compact your looking at is 135 watts. Why spend the money on the additional electricity.

I have a 90 gallon with the hood and lighting it came with. I feel I could use more lighting.
Should I just buy a better bulb for some added light?
Any suggestions on make and type?
