Does raising fry stunt growth of young pairs?

Hi,
I have a young pair that spawns every week and half or so, they are about 4.5" to 5" at 11 months. Does raising fry stunt growth, should I hold off putting them in their own breeder tank till they grow bigger?

I have found that once the female starts spawning she won't grow too much more..the male will continue to grow and the female may grow a bit,but with the females I have had,once they lay eggs,they stop growing.
