Ok, guys, here's the scene! These 2 discus picked each other out of a 6 group, chased'm all away etc.... so, I moved the others out... now mind you, I do not know what sex either is, at first thought 2 males.. then, voila, eggs....they do spar like a pair, but the eggs turn white overnite..the papillae are not very developed, kinda small, look alike.. The actions: one lays, definite female, the other runs over it kinda, but then seemed to run up the glass next to it; I can't say if he/she laid more eggs, maybe 2 females?http://discusasahobby.com/forum/Smileys/default/huh.gifhttp://discusasahobby.com/forum/Smileys/default/huh.gif? It's interesting that they both watch over the eggs, but nothing is happening... Since I'm not really interested in breeding yet, should I just leave'm alone?? I have 2 other very nice golds that I could introduce, one would actually fit the female better/ closer in color/type, both clean.. now should I just wait it out?? These fish came in from Jeff last July as babies....so really they are still young!! however do I tell if I have a male??? How many times with eggs, does one decide that nada is going to happen?http://discusasahobby.com/forum/Smileys/default/huh.gifhttp://discusasahobby.com/forum/Smileys/default/huh.gifhttp://discusasahobby.com/forum/Smileys/default/huh.gif?? thanks Dottie http://discusasahobby.com/forum/Smileys/default/confused.gif

If they are siblings the male is probably not old enough yet - I'd give them more time.

The males tube is pointed and kinda sticks out a little and the females is alot bigger and sticks out more.
