Thats REALLY cloudy. Is that from fertilizer or substrate, you think?

i'm guessing its the flourite or the eco-complete .... guess just going to wait for it to clear up ........

Are you running a fully cycled bio-filter?

all the equipment is new and about a week old ..........

Then that is your problem. You should get those plants and anything else that's alive out of there and cycle your filter. Use pure ammonia.

Any grocery store will carry it. Just get the plain stuff... no special colors, scents, or flavors. :p

If you haven't yet, I would also invest in a good test kit. The liquid kits are usually the cheapest and can be purchased at www.petsolutions.com or www.bigalsonline.com for about 20 bucks.
