What type flourescent bulb enhances color in discus? The original 24" in my hood is not bright enough to show colors in my 40gal deep tank.

i think 50/50 bulbs do real good.

i like the way a bulb high in the blue spectrum makes my fish look
but everyone has a prefrence

Thanks, Tried a Power-Glo by Hagen, which is strong in the blue region. Just what I was looking for.

Also great to bring out the blue is the Blue Moon bulb.
