Discus pairing up

Have couple of turks paired up for year or so .They never left alone any other discus except SS turk.Recently Male turk twiches here and there around SS turk , not paying much attention to his old mate.Is this just case of adultury or beginning of new love?
In second tank there is 5 discus 2.5" / 3.5" ,and no pairing yet.Is there a way to get them do it.

Discus are not monogamous, so could be shuffling mates. The 2nd tank with 2.5 - 3.5 discus are probably too young to be interested in breeding.
