Hi all,
People are always looking for a fool proof way of telling the sex of their adult discus,which aside from it laying eggs, I'm not sure there is one, but it might be interesting to start a thread that has only confirmed Females in it.

So if you have a good pic of your female discus please post them here.. Try to be sure that the fins are clearly showing :)

Here is a proven female. I have her paired with the red ss from the other thread. She has fry on her back right now and is turning out to be a pretty good mom. :)

This is a female. You culd always tell that this was a female as the ovopositer is always visible.
