What color frys will I get with these crosses?

Hi everyone I've been looking all over the net for some discus color inheritence questions to no prevail. Wish someone could help me here:-(


I would like to know the probable results of the following crosses (and whether they will be nice color in your opinion):

1, Red white x Blue Diamond

2, Red White x Blue Snakeskin

3, Blue Diamond x Blue Snakeskin

4, LSS x LSS (both 15 bars)

1 & 2 The red/white crosses may look predominately like whites.
3 Blue diamond is ressesive so all will have bars - some 15 bars and SS pattern.
4 some LSS, some SS, some turks.

First of all thanks for your prompt reply Carol.

So when you say "the red/white crosses may look predominately like whites",
do you mean the resulting frys will be like Snow White(all white)? or just a white base with color on top?

Also, would you personally prefer BD x BSS or BSS x BSS crosses?

I'd guess RW crosses will have white eyes, whitish/gray bodies with bits of color.

I like the BD x bss crosses.

wow those are super nice BDSS, as I am currently working on a pair of BDxSS.

BTW, this is the reason I keep bugging you for those color crossing questions, Carol. Wonder what the frys will look like...

here's another pic of the BDxRW crosses. As you can see, the RW(Dad) attracts the frys about 90% of the time. Should I remove mom if she's co-existing nicely but with very little frys?

Also, do u guys think that these Red White x Blue Diamond frys will have peppering?

The Snowred white x Blue diamond off springs might be so nice but not 100% bloodline. you need to fix them.

the snow red white x blue diamond offsprings would have nice add blue fins that is all and no speical.
