I'm interested in getting smarter about whether various dechlorinators/water conditioners are compatible with commonly-used medications. I recently treated my tank with PraziPro. I use AmQuel, so I corresponded with Kordon, who responded that "We have no evidence that AmQuel or AmQuel+ neutralize the effectiveness of praziquentel." I've heard that AmQuel does react with formalin. Does anyone know which common medications do or do not get deactivated by AmQuel, Prime, etc.? Is there a water treatment product that is especially compatible with discus meds?
