I going to do a prazipro treatment for flatworms on my 2.5 inches discus.

What do you think is the best dosage and lenght for that treatment.

it's written on the package to use 1 teaspoon of prazipro per 20 gallons and to redose every day.
It says to treat for 5 to 7 days.

Is it the way you guys would do it??
keep in mind that it's for flatworms and not for fluke

thanks

A single treatment worked for me at the reccomended dosage of 1 teaspoon per 20 gallons. It will remain active in the system for 5-7 days. If you change water during the treatment be sure to replace the lost medicine. For example if you do a 25% water change everyday you will need to put in 25% of the original dose after each water change. I have never heard of doing a full redose everyday and would be worrierd about an OD.

I agree with Kodiak I too only do the one treatment. the directionson the bottle says,,,a SINGLE treatment lasting 5 to 7 days is normally sufficient..retreat as necessary, BUT no more then once every 3 to 5 days..... I'm sure you would do harm to your fish if you treat every day...Vet
