Does RO Right affect the ph of RO water? Is it worth the cost and trouble to use it instead of tap water? The water has a ph of about 5.0 out of my RO and the second I add tap water the ph jumps close to 8. Will using RO Right cause my ph to jump close to that? Any other people with experience on this please let me know. Thanks

RO will add to the TDS, or hardness of the water, it is relatively ph neutral. If you want to raise the ph slightly use Kent PH Stable. I add both to my RO to bring it up to about 100 TDS and a ph of 6.2. Then, of course, you have add Kent Discus Essentials for the trace elements.

Is it worth the price? Depends on what you want to do, how much you trust your tap water, etc, etc, etc .... most don't think so, I do :D
