Hi Remi,

PP should be available where water softeners are sold. If you're in the Toronto area, you can also check out http://clarkekoi.com/. I bought my 1/4 lb for 8 bucks, which is decent and will last the average hobbyist a very long time. As for piperazine, check with the local farmer's co-ops. They usually have it available. I even saw some over-the-counter piperazine citrate at Walmart, under dewormers for dogs.

I bought my PP at sears:

my local fish store carries piperazine..its a cat dewormer really...
they also have a little bottle of pp from jungle. for ponds.but..i went to my pharmacist and she was able to order me a bottle. apparently..she told me some doctors prescribe it for baby diaper rash. it was not costly

Ok so pp seems an easy thing to find (sears, walmart...)
But can u guys tell me what is it used for for the "normal" people??
I mean if they sell it at sears, its prolly because it is used to sometin else than in aquariums.
