11 bar discus?

My Erupt x Maze fry have 11 bars. I've heard of 8 bars and 10 bars on normaly nine barred fish but since mine are a SS x 9bar cross what do you think the fry will be? SS type or 9 bar type? They have a beautiful gold (not yellow) metalic sheen and are 1.5" total. I can't wait to see what they turn into, especialy since they are the only two fry from my Erupt female that I lost recently.

Look at the pattern on the gills. If fine (narrow) stripe and dots then they will look like snake skin as adults.

There is no pattern anywhere yet,lol. I'm just impatient and thought the # of bars might be enough to tell. Personaly I don't remember having seen an 11 bar snake OR 11 barred lep/maze/RT
type.

A SS discus can have anywhere from 6 to 18 bars.
